The Hotel Barton is a minute's walk from Torquay's harbour and town centre, on a secluded road with no noise of an evening. The staff are friendly and the breakfasts are very good. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

Lovely welcome and service from Andrew, Hotel Proprietor. Lovely clean room, fantastic breakfast, and brilliant location, couple of minutes walk to the harbour. Would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family, and look forward to a return visit.

Freshly made food, good service and lovely view over to the park opposite. Really nice building, brilliant and airy rooms. Fruit and refreshments at breakfast. Handy location of the hotel close to town centre. And near the harbour, and buses.

The owners were friendly and welcoming, giving lots of useful information about the area. I was especially pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, and the contemporary design and furnishings. Perfect location, situated 2 mins walk away from Torquay Harbour. Nice breakfasts too, and all for a low price.
Rooms were slightly small, however cannot complain given the value for money.

From the moment I arrived the atmosphere was really friendly and professional. My room was spotlessly clean with lovely modern decor and all the facilities I needed including Freeview TV, good shower, nice shower gel. Breakfast also excellent - proper bacon, generous helpings. Highly recommend this little gem.

Perfect Getaway for Solo Travelers!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The room was impeccably clean, and the shower was refreshing. Raj and his wife were cute, offering great local tips. I recommend exploring nearby dining options, but keep in mind the breakfast starts early! A fantastic experience.

only a few minor points, the bed for me was to short im 6ft 1 and i did have to curl up a little bit, also for me the breakfast although very nice was too early, i'm not an early riser and 8 am is not a time i wish to wake up on holiday as such i only ate breakfast once.
